Presently I’m writing a personal history of our generation’s turbulent years and having a great time reviewing all those experiences with new understanding. We like dogs, horses, classic cars-I’m still looking for a ’52 Studebaker-and RV travel along Route 66. Mark and I have two daughters, one in California and one in London, England, and four grandchildren. (All the rumors are true!) I completed my doctorate at a global virtual Christian seminary in Indiana, served as director of the women’s program at that institution for many years, and taught philosophy at a local college. It’s been a fairly quiet life, but we had a front row seat for the early Bill and Hillary antics. Mark is an engineer and professor of community and economic development at the University of Arkansas. We’ve been in Arkansas for over twenty-five years now. I left California following a Marxist faculty coup in the UCD history department where I was doing graduate study and retreated to rural Missouri, where I met my husband Mark. After moving to Walnut Creek, I attended Parkmead, DVHS, and UC Davis. My special DVHS memory is riding to school every day with my mother! (And my 3 kids went to school with me every day at Campolindo!) Perpetua School, Lafayette Lafayette Junior Women's Club, and National Charity League. We enjoy traveling in England and Europe. I enjoy sewing and crafts of many kinds (quilting and I even crocheted my own wedding gown and designed/constructed Kristina's gown) cooking, baking, brewing beer, reading historical novels, and vegetable gardening. My husband William and I have 3 children, Kristina, Michael and Lisa, and 2 grandchildren, Laura and Clara. in Castro Valley and Campolindo, where I retired as head counselor in 2010. My employment has included teaching at Dublin High School Kitchen/Interior Design consulting (which I still do for friends) catering and teaching cooking classes at Two Good Cooks in Berkeley and high school counseling at Redwood H.S. I've lived and worked in Santa Barbara, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Dublin, Castro Valley, and Moraga, plus Glenbrook, Lake Tahoe, Nevada. 1969) UC Berkeley (Teaching Credential 1971) Oxford University, Magdalene College, England (1972 summer program) Cordon Bleu Cookery School – London, England (Summer 1983) and Saint Mary's College, Moraga (Masters in Counseling Psychology and School Counseling 1987-1990). ![]() The chart below compares the amount of money made (or lost) for each of the men’s sports offered at Diablo Valley. After DVHS, I attended UC Santa Barbara (A.B.
